Not much of a day today. We had found out yesterday that there was a rehearsal at noon, which meant I couldn’t go on my tour as planned, a real drag. Especially since the rehearsal was for the sound guy because he’s new this cruise and not yet comfortable with everything. So I did my rehearsal, tried to get online in the terminal, which didn’t work for some strange reason, and played the show that night. Following that, there was a masquerade party that night, and seeing as I didn’t bring my extensive mask collection with me on this cruise (ha), I improvised by wrapping my head in toilet paper and going as a mummy. And despite it being a totally ridiculous idea, it worked out pretty well and I think my “mask” got the most laughs out of anyone’s, not to mention, I could rip it to pieces when I finally removed it midway into the evening. So that was Lisbon, luckily, I think we have one more stop there right before we make our crossing to the Caribbean.
